I have been looking for the perfect phototherapy device to add to my treatments and I'm finally excited to introduce Celluma LED Light Therapy, that uses Nasa researched technology, to my clinic!
What I love about Celluma is all of the clinical data available. I want to ensure the best for my clients and evidence is super important to me, it's been featured in several studies that demonstrate just how effective it is on treating a number of skin conditions and is suitable for all skin types.
What is LED? Tell me more!
LED Light therapy uses light energy to regenerate, repair and revive the cells which provides excellent benefits for the skin. It penetrates the skin at different levels depending on the chosen wavelength to trigger different photobiochemical reactions within the cells which creates a healthy cell renewal while encouraging them to function properly.
Celluma uses three wavelengths which are blue, red and infrared.
The blue light penetrates the epidermis and is great for killing acne causing bacteria. It also reduces redness and provides soothing benefits for the skin.
Red light goes into the dermis and stimulates fibroblast activity which leads to the production of collagen. This helps improve both tone and texture of the skin.
Going to the deepest level of the skin, Near Infrared accelerates healthy cell renewal and repair, reduces inflammation and improves circulation.
Are there anymore benefits?
Of course, Celluma LED Light Therapy has been proven to provide the following benefits:
It treats acne and acne scars
Targets sun damage
Smoothes fine lines and wrinkles
Eases muscle tension
Rejuvenates the skin
It stimulates wound healing
How long before I see the results?
As with every facial, having LED light therapy does require a course of treatments but it's especially effective when paired with other treatments which is why we have combined it with chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermplaning and a few of other treatments.
View my services via the services page to book your facial combined with LED Light Therapy. It is always best to have a consultation prior to any treatment which can also be booked via the services page.
