Acne scars
 

Sometimes, acne can damage the skin tissue and leave behind indentation that we know as acne scars. Acne scars also known as atrophic scars are not to be confused with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, they affect the texture of the skin. Scars are left behind as a result of not enough collagen being produced while the skin is healing. The different types of acne scars are:
